St Petersburg Collection was pleased to be part of the Official Souvenir Edition for the Diamond Jubilee. Featured was the latest creation by Theo Fabergé, The Carousel Egg.
The Carousel Egg will have its Official World Launch at the “Concours d’Elegance” at the Hurlingham Club, London Wednesday 4th July 2012.
The Carousel Egg is the first of Theo Fabergé’s Egg creations with more than one enamel colour. For further information on the Carousel Egg please refer to the news item “World Launches”.
Princes Arcade and shopkeepers, where St Petersburg Collection now has its new enlarged gallery, found themselves in the spotlight during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebration when His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales accompanied by his wife the Duchess of Cornwall strolled through Princes Arcade after attending the Street Party in Piccadilly, London.
At the Street Party Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, produced an enormous Union Jack sponge cake, announcing with a wink: “I’ve been up all night making this.” Then she confessed: “Okay, well I haven’t. Well, it was my idea, though – and it is the thought that counts. I ‘m not sure you’d want to eat anything I made anyway!”
H.R.H. Prince Charles meanwhile, chatted about the weather – saying: “It’s been frightful, hasn’t it? Let’s just hope it clears up for us.”
