Since the last edition so much more has been learnt about the history of Fabergé and of course the new book includes all this new history. Furthermore all the photos of Theo Fabergé creations have been updated with their stories.
We have also tried to include items which we have been repeatedly asked about. For example Theo Fabergé’s personal Holzapffel lathe which was built in 1860 has always fascinated collectors. A photo of this beautiful lathe is included in the new book.
The other question we are frequently asked is the whereabouts of the Imperial Eggs. Exciting news from research has recently come to light and this is one of the main revisions in the new 4th edition book. The Appendix II, listing all the Imperial Eggs and where they might be viewed, has been updated to include this.
