A select number of guests and myself have just completed a wonderful Tour to St Petersburg, Russia. This was our 25th year of bringing Collectors and friends to St Petersburg and we are already starting to plan for 2019!
Some of the highlights from the trip included a boat trip by rivers and canals to capture views of St Petersburg including the newly restored New Holland Islands. Plus a sightseeing tour of many of the major attractions within St Petersburg. A trip to The Hermitage Pavilion, The Gardens and Catherine Palace. At Peterhof Palace we saw the newly restored fountains and the Golden Cascade.
Each day we were treated to some lovely dinners in some amazing settings including a surprise black tie gala dinner held in a unique secret location! One evening we all attended The Mikhailovsky Theatre to see a fabulous ballet. Some very memorable experiences!
We stayed at the very elegant five-star Astoria Hotel with rooms overlooking St Isaac’s Cathedral. Our Guide, Frieda, has a wealth of knowledge of the city and brings this alive as she guides us during this totally bespoke Tour.
Places are very limited as we keep the group size low to ensure compatibility between guests and I’m sure you will make some new friendships.
