Handling and key selling points

HANDLING

1. LIFT THE WHOLE EGG AND HOLD FROM THE BOTTOM.

Do not pick up the Eggs by the crown. This is a delicate part of the piece and could be subject to damage if handled in this way.

2. NEVER CARRY THE EGGS IN THEIR PRESENTATION CASES.

These cases were not designed to hold the Eggs for transportation, their only function is for display.

3. ENSURE THAT THE EGG IS SITTING IN ITS OWN GOLD PRESENTATION BOX

… containing the correct certificate (located underneath the pad on which the Egg sits). Also where an Egg opens, please note that each half is inscribed with its edition number.

4. NEVER PICK UP THE EGG BY THE CROWN OR FINIAL – THIS IS THE WEAKEST POINT.

Pick up the body of the Egg avoiding any shiny metal surfaces.
